Heritage Park is a sprawling 1,238-acre park featuring a 40-acre lake that’s perfect for fishing and small watercraft. The park has a wide range of features to enjoy, including an 18-hole public golf course, a 30-acre dog park and 10 picnic shelters. Shelters are available for reservation at (913) 831-3359, although you can enjoy a Heritage Park shelter without a reservation. For pricing information, visit Johnson County Parks & Rec.
