Why no ratings? In order to provide our patients and visitors with the most accurate information, we only post physician satisfaction data when a physician has received a minimum of 30 returned surveys. • May 30, 2019Dr. Buss is an excellent care provider. He listens well. He shows compassion. Dr. Buss shows a high level of expertise. • May 24, 2019Dr. Buss has literally saved my life AT LEAST twice! Also, I actually read up on all of the effects of my meds and he is outrageously well informed. Each time I ask an obscure rx or illness question he has read the latest studies and can answer my questions completely. I will NEVER change doctors!

  • May 23, 2019I very much appreciated the timely response to my need to see a Dr. I went from an exam, to testing, referred to a surgeon and gall bladder removal surgery within a week of my visit.
  • May 22, 2019About fifteen years ago, one of my coworkers at Hallmark referred me to Dr. Buss, when my then current doctor (who had been one of Harry Truman's doctors) decided to retire at a ripe old age. In any event, I went from one great doctor to another. I give Dr. Buss my highest recommendation!

  • Apr 29, 2019This doctor listens closely and offers sensible advice. But his interpersonal style is logical and scientific rather than empathetic or caring. There's nothing wrong with that if you don't mind a provider who watches you with a cool, detached gaze as you talk. And if you asked him why he never nods or smiles or otherwise acknowledges what you're saying via facial expressions or gestures, he would probably say that he doesn't want to influence the patient's self-expression. But unfortunately it often feels like talking to a robot.
