The Patient Rating score is derived from care-provider related questions on our patient experience survey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score. Comments also displayed in their entirety. Patients are de-identified for confidentiality and patient privacy.
Why no ratings? In order to provide our patients and visitors with the most accurate information, we only post physician satisfaction data when a physician has received a minimum of 30 returned surveys. For this provider, we have not yet received the minimum. To learn more about the survey, visit our about the survey page.

  • Oct 4, 2018Shelley Elias PA was fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable takes time explains everything & makes sure you know what to do. Very pleased.
  • Sep 27, 2018After talking with friends and family about a prescription I had received from Shelly, and further researching it myself, I decided it was not something I wanted to start taking and wanted a substitute. After leaving a voice mail for the nurse about the situation, the nurse called me back to let me know Shelly would not be giving me a different prescription. After telling the nurse that I would not be giving this script a try even though Shelly recommends it, the nurse went back to Shelly once again saying that I will not take it, she still refused to write me a different script. I will not be going back to Shelly nor any other provider at SM Physicians Group due to this. I understand the recommendations of a provider but feel the provider needs to understand the wishes of the patient.
