Blueberry Almond Butter Smoothie

This nutrient-dense smoothie is part of The Busy Person’s Guide to a 7-Day Cleanse, MyHealthKC’s week-long clean-eating program designed to help you jumpstart your health goals.


1.5 cups frozen banana

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 tbsp. almond butter

3/4 cup plain almond milk

1 tbsp. flaxseed meal

1 tbsp. chia seed


  1. Add ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend on high until creamy and smooth.
  2. If it has trouble blending, add a bit more almond milk. Then taste and adjust flavor as needed.
  3. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 2 days, though best when fresh.
