Cinnamon Apple Fries

This delicious dessert puts apples at the core. Lightly tossed with cinnamon and sugar then cooked in the air fryer, it is a guilt-free dessert.

Ingredients

4 apples, peeled and sliced

1/2 cup almond flour

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/4 cup lemon juice

Cooking oil spray

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix together flour and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
  2. Peel and slice apples.
  3. Coat apple slices with lemon juice and then with the flour mixture.
  4. Oil the air fryer and place apples in a single layer.
  5. Spray apple slices with your cooking oil spray.
  6. Air fry at 400 degrees for 3-5 minutes. Any longer and your apples will be mushy.
  7. Mix together sugar and the remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  8. Remove apples from the air fryer and coat them in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  9. Serve with caramel sauce or other desired topping.
