These salty and sweet bars make a delicious dessert or satisfying snack for after school or after a workout.
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup light agave nectar
1 T. of your favorite nut oil
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. salt
1¼ cup puffed barley cereal
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/3 cup dark chocolate chip
1/3 cup dry-roasted salted peanut
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine creamy peanut butter, agave nectar, oil, vanilla, and salt in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for one minute or until bubbly. Put in fridge and completely cool before combining with dry ingredients.
Combine cereal, oats, chocolate chips and peanuts in a medium bowl.
Pour cooled peanut mixture over barley mixture and toss well to coat. Press into a 11x7 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until set. Cut into bars.
